🔁 Stage 6: Feedback, Review, and Regeneration
(The Evolutionary Pulse of a Living System) Purpose: To turn reflection into renewal. Every Circle is a living entity, not a static committee — and living things grow, shed, and transform. Stage 6 establishes regenerative intelligence inside the system so that adaptation isn’t an emergency; it’s a rhythm.
1. Quarterly Role Audits 🔍
(Reality Check for Every Role) Goal: Ensure that what’s written in the ledgers matches what’s true in practice. Process:
- The Admin Facilitator ⚙ and AI Secretary 🤖 run a structured Role Audit once per quarter.
- Review each Role Card:
- Document findings in the Role Ledger with one of three statuses:
- If drift or misalignment is found, Admin Facilitator proposes adjustments in the next Governance Meeting.
AI Secretary Automations:
- Auto-flag overdue audits.
- Cross-check KPI data consistency.
- Generate “Role Health Summary” for the Transparency Digest.
2. Circle Review 🧭
(Purpose: Stay Alive, Not Just Active) Goal: Reassess whether the Circle’s Purpose, Domains, and Cadence still serve the evolving organism. Process:
- Conduct every quarter (or during major ecosystem changes).
- Facilitated by Lead Steward 🎯, witnessed by Rep Steward 🔄.
- Begin with the prompt: “Is this Circle still fulfilling its reason for existence?”
- Review:
- Results logged in Decision Ledger → “Circle Review Entry.”
- If major adaptation is needed, initiate a Charter Revision Proposal.
Why it matters: Most communities die not from conflict, but from stagnation. This review keeps the purpose fresh and prevents legacy inertia.
3. Learning Digest 🧠
(Harvesting Insight as Culture) Goal: Make learning visible so it compounds rather than repeats. Process:
- The Transparency Publisher (Admin Facilitator + AI Secretary) curates a Quarterly Learning Digest, combining:
- Published publicly in the Transparency Ledger and shared with the Parent Circle or Federation.
- Optional summary sent to other Circles for cross-pollination of learning.
Why it matters: Knowledge shouldn’t live in memory; it should live in systems. By publishing learnings, CCOS creates evolutionary traceability — proof that adaptation is continuous.
4. Regeneration Loop 🌱
(Turning Feedback into Evolution) Goal: Close the learning loop by feeding all insights directly back into governance, structure, and culture. Process:
- Insights to Action:
- AI Secretary Sync:
- Reorganization Option:
Philosophy: Regeneration means endings are as sacred as beginnings. Every adaptation is compost for the next evolution.
5. Core Safeguards 🔐
- Nothing unreviewed survives indefinitely. Every charter, role, and policy has a sunset date or audit cadence.
- Learning is mandatory, not optional. Reflection is built into the workflow, not postponed until crisis.
- Documentation = Integrity. AI Secretary ensures no insights are lost, even if people leave.
- Dissolution is dignified. Circles can complete gracefully when their purpose has been fulfilled.
Essence
Feedback is how the Circle breathes. Review is how it grows bones. Regeneration is how it remembers who it truly is. With this stage, CCOS becomes more than governance — it becomes a self-healing organism. Every ledger entry, reflection, and revision fuels the evolution of the whole.
