Claude Team Prompt Library for Working With Sera

Technology · 4 min read

A copy-paste prompt library for teams that use Claude (Claude Team and Projects with Notion, Drive, Gmail, and Calendar connectors) alongside Sera. Grouped into Governance, Notion and Memory, Meetings and People, and Google Workspace, with the task format Sera expects.

Many teams run Claude (via Claude Team or Projects, connected to Notion, Drive, Gmail, and Calendar) alongside Sera. Claude is your intelligence layer for asking questions and drafting; Sera keeps the structured memory current. This is a ready-to-use prompt library. Copy a prompt, fill in the brackets, and go.

Governance

Summarize recent governance activity. "Summarize what has happened in our governance over the last two weeks based on what is in Notion. What decisions were made, what tasks are open, and what canon changes are pending?"

Articulate a tension clearly. "I am noticing tension around the following: describe the tension. Help me articulate this as a governance tension that is clear, non-blaming, and actionable for a governance meeting."

Draft a consent-based proposal. "Help me draft a proposal to change the following policy, role, or circle definition. Include the proposed change, the reason, what canon area it affects, and who should review it."

Build a governance-meeting agenda. "Pull all pending items from our governance review queue: open Canon Change Requests, unresolved ledger entries, and tasks that still need an owner. Format them as a governance agenda."

Check role health. "List all roles currently marked Active in the Roles database. For each, tell me whether there is an active Role Assignment, and flag any Active role with no current holder as Vacant."

Notion and Memory

Look up open tasks by circle. "Look at the Tasks database and find all open tasks owned by someone in the following circle. List them with owner and due date."

Audit stale ledger drafts. "Review the CCOS Ledger Entries database and find all Draft entries not reviewed in more than 30 days. List them with the ledger type and circle."

Find knowledge gaps. "Look at the Knowledge Base. What topics are missing that a new member would want to know? Suggest 5 specific article titles we should write, grouped by category."

Write a memory candidate. "Help me write a memory candidate for Sera to review. The fact I want to preserve is the following. Format it with a one-sentence proposed memory, category, confidence, reviewer, risk if added, risk if ignored, and suggested destination."

Meetings and People

Research before a meeting. "Based on what we know in Notion, summarize who the following person or organization is, their relationship to us, and any recent interactions, commitments, open tasks, or decisions on record."

Turn raw notes into tasks. "Here are my raw notes from the meeting: paste notes. Extract the concrete commitments as tasks in the format Sera expects."

Google Workspace

Search Gmail for unresolved commitments. "Search my Gmail for emails from the following name or domain in the last 30 days related to the following topic. Summarize the key points and any unresolved commitments."

Prep for a calendar meeting. "Look at my Google Calendar for the following meeting on the following date. Who is attending? Find anything relevant about this meeting from our Notion databases."

Draft an email the capture inbox will process well. "Draft an email I can send to our capture inbox summarizing today's conversation with the following person about the following topic. Include the key commitments, any risks, and flag anything that might be a canon change."

The task format Sera expects

When you ask Claude to produce tasks, ask for exactly this shape so Sera ingests them cleanly:

  • Task description — what is to be done.
  • Owner — name or role.
  • Due date.
  • Priority — High, Medium, or Low.
  • Project — if known.

The best-practice closer

After any important external conversation, forward the thread to your capture inbox (for example capture@yourorg.com). That single habit is what moves a decision or commitment out of a private inbox and into the audited pipeline, where Sera extracts it, deduplicates it, and files it into the shared memory with a full trail. Claude helps you think and draft; forwarding to capture is what makes it remembered.

Key points

A copy-paste prompt library for teams using Claude alongside Sera. Governance prompts: summarize recent governance activity, articulate a tension clearly, draft a consent-based proposal, build a governance-meeting agenda from pending queue items, and check role health flagging vacant active roles. Notion and Memory prompts: look up open tasks by circle, audit stale ledger drafts older than 30 days, find KB knowledge gaps and suggest 5 article titles, and write a memory candidate in Sera format. Meetings and People prompts: research a person or org before a meeting cross-referencing your Notion records, and turn raw notes into Sera-formatted tasks. Google Workspace prompts: search Gmail for unresolved commitments, prep for a calendar meeting, and draft an email the capture inbox will process well. The task format Sera expects is task description, owner name or role, due date, priority (High/Medium/Low), and project. Best practice: after any important external conversation, forward the thread to the capture inbox so it enters the audited pipeline.
