🧭 2.2: How We Align

🌟Alignment is how we stay true to our circle’s purpose and to each other.

It’s not about everyone being the same. It’s about making sure our actions and decisions point in the same direction.

🌀 Circle Alignment

Every Sub-Circle aligns with three anchors:

• Purpose → Why this circle exists
• Domains → What we hold responsibility for
• Authority → What decisions we can and cannot make

📌 Example: “Our purpose is to keep agreements clear. Our domains are conflict protocols and accountability. Our authority is local to this circle, while Sector HQ holds network-wide policy.” When projects or discussions drift outside these anchors, we pause and realign.

🤝 Personal Alignment

We also align with each other through:

• Member Agreements → Our shared commitments
• Check-in Culture → Naming how we arrive before doing work
• Feedback Loops → Raising concerns in the Feedback & Reflections thread

📌 Example: “If someone misses a commitment, they acknowledge it in the Check-in thread and realign by reassigning or recommitting.”

🧭 Alignment in Action

Here’s how we keep alignment alive:

1. Start Meetings with Purpose → Name the circle’s purpose before diving in.
2. Check Projects Against Domains → Ask: “Does this fall inside our scope?”
3. Pause When Off-Track → Anyone can call a quick alignment check.
4. Review Quarterly → Revisit purpose, domains, and authority every 3 months.
