Purpose

Hold the vision and ensure the circle stays aligned with its Purpose, Domains, and Authority.


Accountabilities / Outcomes

  • Activate and guide circle focus
  • Keep members connected to purpose and agreements
  • Ensure projects move forward with clarity and support
  • Host or delegate meeting facilitation
  • Model stewardship culture and check-in practices

  • Agenda and meeting cadence
  • Project initiation and prioritization

Responsibilities / Actions

  • Call and host tactical, governance, and strategy meetings
  • Review circle projects monthly to ensure progress
  • Remind members of agreements and conflict repair practices when needed
  • Support Rep Steward and Admin Facilitator in their roles

Authorities

  • Call meetings and set agendas
  • Accept or reassign projects within circle’s domains
  • Request sector-level support if alignment drifts

Measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Metric: Quarterly pulse check: % of members reporting “I feel clear on the circle’s purpose and direction.”

Example:

  • 8 members respond to poll → 6 answered Yes, 2 answered Somewhat
  • Clarity Score = 87%

👉 Shows members generally understand why the circle exists, with a few areas for improvement.

2. Meeting Rhythm Adherence

Metric: % of planned tactical, governance, and strategy meetings held as scheduled.

Example:

5. Responsiveness to Tensions

Metric: % of tensions raised that received steward acknowledgment within 72h.

Example:

  • 7 tensions raised this quarter in Feedback & Reflections
  • 6 acknowledged in under 72h, 1 delayed
  • Responsiveness Rate = 86%

👉 Members feel heard quickly, though timeliness can improve slightly.
